The Contracts covering the Full-Time and Casual-Regular Cast Members at Walt Disney World provide Holiday Pay as a negotiated benefit. This benefit is a guarantee that all Union represented Cast Members enjoy because of our Union.
Full-Time Cast Members
Full-Time Cast Members receive eight (8) hours of Holiday pay for the following holidays:
- December 31

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
-
Memorial Day
- Juneteenth
-
July 4
-
Labor Day
-
Thanksgiving Day

December 25
To receive Holiday pay, Full-Time Cast Members must meet the eligibility requirements below:
SECTION 2. ELIGIBILITY
(a) All Regular Full Time employees are eligible for holiday pay after working thirty (30) calendar days of continuous service, provided they work their scheduled shifts on the core holiday and the immediate day prior to and immediately following such holiday, if scheduled.
(b) If the employee’s failure to work his/her regularly scheduled shift immediately before or following the holiday was due to personal illness, injury, death in the immediate family or an approved FMLA absence and the employee satisfied the Company in this respect, he/she shall be eligible to receive holiday pay.
(c) Employees on an authorized leave of absence of six (6) days or longer are not eligible for holiday pay.

Casual-Regular Cast Members
Casual-Regular Cast Members represented by the Union receive time and one half (overtime) for all hours worked up to fourteen (14) hours on the following holidays:
- Thanksgiving
- December 25
- December 31
- Easter Sunday
- Memorial Day
In addition to the Holidays above, Casual-Regular Cast Members with two (2) or more years of continuous service also receive time and one half (overtime) for all hours worked up to fourteen (14) hours on the following holidays:
- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
- Juneteenth
- Labor Day
